Summer Leadership Trip
Project Canoe’s Leadership Trip is an opportunity for youth aged 16-18 to have an extended experience in the wilderness while also building personal leadership, social and emotional skills. Throughout the trip there will be a transfer of responsibility as the staff leaders step back and provide more opportunities for each youth to lead, make decisions, and complete the necessary daily tasks together as a team. There will be time made for goal setting, personal reflection, having fun and experiential learning.
Once back from their trip, they will have the opportunity to continue their leadership development through other Project Canoe programs including our Youth Advisory Council and Urban Program Volunteer opportunities.
Dates
